There are few things more frustrating to parents than expecting your child to do something they are not developmentally prepared to do. Early childhood is a series of advances and regressions. Knowing what to expect and what is and is not developmentally appropriate will ease your concerns that you are doing something wrong or that there is something wrong with your child.
In this talk we will accomplish the following:
· Walk you through the stages of social/emotional development so that you can anticipate what comes next and leave empowered to make informed choices.
· Define primary milestones.
· Provide strategies for promoting healthy development and working through behavioral struggles linked to changes in development.
· Ample time for Q & A that addresses the specific needs of the attendees.
We love children but we know it's much easier for us to listen and learn if we're not worried about them. Because of this, our talks are for the parents/adults only.
